*Bob Pinfield’s Funeral.* Is on Thursday Obviously in the present circumstances numbers are limited and there is not much scope for members to attend, although the club will be represented. However, the hearse will leave the Pinfield’s house at 17, The Park Mayfield, between 12.30 and 12.45 next Thursday Jan 14th. Anyone who would like to pay their respects is invited to watch it leave from the pavement of The Park, whilst maintaining social distance. Would be good to wear a mask too. There is about 250yds from the house down to the main road so there should be room for everyone, although I believe the neighbours and the Lions will be doing the same thing, so if necessary watch from the hill that goes down to the hanging bridge, there’s a pavement all the way down. It might be easier to park on Moorlands drive, and walk through the jitty to The Park, or on the main road, rather than make it difficult for the hearse. It would be great to give him a good send off and to show the family just how well Bob was liked and respected by the club.
