To all players, officials, supporters, volunteers of ARUFC and their families We are in unprecedented times and it appears things are going to get worse before they start to improve Whilst no one knows how bad things may get we will get through it and hopefully we will all come out stronger on the other side Whist we will no longer be playing / watching rugby with friends we still have things we can be doing instead To this end (and I’m sure this is / has already happened) I ask all members and friends to not only look after their immediate family (who obviously come first) but also to look after the vulnerable in the rugby community and in the local community in general A phone call to the vulnerable to offer help of whatever type you can or just for a chat will be of immense benefit and make sure those in need do not feel forgotten I’m confident the ARUFC spirit (and the Ashburnian spirit too) will shine through to ensure no one feels they are in this all alone. We are seen as the No 1 club in this town for a reason and nows the time to show everyone why we deserve to keep this tag Please follow the medical advice and stay safe Good luck to you all David (Sam) Heath President ARUFC
