Burntwood 2s 17 - Ashbourne 2s 44 What a performance from the seconds!!! Right from warm up it was clear Burntwood were wanting a hard physical game but were simply no match for the hard running and smart phase play Ashbourne produced and certainly in the second half, going uphill, with the low sun in our eyes and a strong opposion bench (they had just the 7 subs 😂) the ashbourne men hardly took a backwards step. Add to this we played most of the game with 14 players due to the sinbin and injury. Man of the match is a tough call on this one as everyone 1 to 15 played out of their skin.
